Hi, I’m Avi, the Founder of A&E Watches.
My journey into the world of luxury timepieces began unexpectedly when one day while working in the diamond industry, an elderly couple walked into the store and suggested that the world of watches was where I really belonged. Their guidance ignited a passion I never knew I had. At the time, I knew very little about watches, but I was eager to learn. I spent lots of time with Mr. Lee, a pocket watch dealer, who introduced me to the world of high-end watches like Patek Philippe.
Determined to turn this newfound passion into a business, I spent nights studying auction catalogs and horology books, recognizing that many people had no idea these exquisite timepieces existed. Seeing an opportunity, I knew I wanted to build a knowledge-driven business that would educate and serve collectors and watch enthusiasts alike.
In 1990, I called my brother Eli and shared my vision. He joined me in San Francisco, bringing his technical expertise and dedication to craftsmanship. Together, we built A&E Watches from the ground up, meticulously curating a collection of exceptional timepieces. Eli created detailed, manual catalogs, learning about every watch we acquired. Over time, we joined prestigious industry guilds, began buying watches from the public, and grew our business into a trusted name in luxury watches.
Today, A&E Watches continues to uphold the values of authenticity, expertise, and customer trust, offering expertly vetted, high-quality pre-owned Rolex timepieces to collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
