A&E Watches Warranty

A&E Watches Warranty & Extended Coverage Options

Every Rolex sold by A&E Watches is backed by a comprehensive warranty, serviced right here in our San Francisco workshop. With over 35 years of experience, our certified watchmakers treat every timepiece — yours included — like their own.

Your peace of mind matters more than any deal you'll find online. That’s why every eligible watch we sell comes with industry-leading coverage, no registration required.

Standard Coverage (Included with Purchase)

5-Year Pre-Owned Watch Coverage

All pre-owned Rolex watches (manufactured 1975–2026) include a 5-year warranty at no additional cost. Coverage begins automatically on your date of purchase.

7-Year New & Never-Worn Coverage

All new or never-worn Rolex watches include an extended 7-year warranty at no additional cost. Coverage begins automatically on your date of purchase.

10-Year Extended Protection Plan

Our premier plan for collectors who want total peace of mind for the next decade. This can be added to your purchase at checkout or for watches you already own.

Optional Add-Ons & Renewals

Extend your protection or add extra care when it suits you. Each add-on includes a full
movement overhaul, lifetime exterior polishing, and water-resistance testing:

● 5-Year Extension (WR5): $499
● 10-Year Protection (WR10): $759 (Includes TWO full movement overhauls)

Coverage for Watches Not Purchased from A&E

Great service shouldn’t depend on where you bought your watch. You can purchase an A&E Warranty even if your Rolex came from somewhere else.

1. Inspection & Authentication: Bring or ship your watch to our San Francisco service center. Our team verifies authenticity and baseline condition.
2. Service if Needed: If the watch requires work to meet our warranty standards, we provide a clear estimate before proceeding.
3. Activation: Once the watch passes inspection, select from our 5 or 10-year plans.

If you experience an issue with your timepiece, follow these steps to initiate a claim:

● Contact us by phone or email: We will triage the issue and guide you on the next steps.
● Submit for Inspection: Send or bring the watch to our showroom with proof of purchase; we will inspect it to confirm coverage.
● Expert Service: We service the watch in our in-house lab and keep you updated on timing. (Please note: Return shipping costs are not covered.)

What Is Covered & What Is Not

● Mechanical labor to restore proper timekeeping and function.
● Workmanship performed by A&E certified technicians.
● Complimentary movement overhaul(s) as specified by your plan.
● Exterior polishing performed whenever the watch is in for service.

● Water damage, misuse, accidents, neglect, or exposure to harsh conditions.
● Normal wear and tear (scratches, “stretch” of the bracelet, or cosmetic issues).
● Replacement parts (gaskets, crystals, crowns, dials, bracelets) unless stated in writing.
● Third-Party Work: Any service, opening of the case back, or repair performed by a third party voids this warranty immediately.
● Rolex Yacht-Master II and Sky-Dweller models.
● Vintage Note: Watches manufactured before 1975 (covered case-by-case — contact us).

We’re flexible and personal. If something falls outside strict terms, talk to us — we’ll always do our best to help.
